Are you one of those rare, organised AND creative types?  Do you love working across multiple projects, making things happen? Are you ready to put your crafty writing and super-sharp video editing skills to good use?

Then picture this:

One moment you’re calling the shots on a film shoot on a significant construction site.  Another moment you’re posing interview questions to the CEO of a multi-national company.  Next – you’re editing majestic drone shots and interviews into a stunning narrative that you know will give them goose bumps.  Let’s face it – there’s worse things you could be doing.

We don’t believe in ego, rockstars or too-cool-for-school attitudes.  We believe in working as a team (and loving what we do) to get things done.  That’s why all our work is won by referrals and repeat business.  Our clients love us and trust us.  And if the shoe fits, then we know they’ll feel the same way about you.

A little bit about the work

Many of our client organisations operate in construction and technology sectors and are responsible for building a better Australia for all of us.  Close up, we get to see some pretty cool things!  As a well organised Media Producer and editor, you’ll be delivering video stories that influence and inspire the leaders and staff of these organisations. (We’re not playing it up – yes, that’s really the gig!).

Your work will be seen by thousands of people every month on TV, cinema or web (but mostly web) and you’ll rightly feel proud of your contribution. You’ll be front and centre stage of everything that’s project managed in our studio, working at times autonomously, and at other times along-side the Founding Director as a highly valued team member.

A little bit about the role

You’ll be responsible for the start-to-end managing of the production process from concept through to delivery.  in many instances, you’ll be supervising the output of others and providing feedback where necessary. Your knowledge and experience (minimum of 2 – 3 years) will give you the credibility necessary when liaising with clients and providing feedback to other creatives.

A little bit about our workplace (it might not be what you expect)

We pride ourselves on creating the very best place to work.  Enjoy free coffee each week at a nearby cafe or work from a nearby peaceful library that has some of the most stunning elevated views in Melbourne!  Or simply jump in one of four boardrooms if you feel the need to spread out.  We’ll provide the very latest, high-end Macbook Pro laptop along with external screens for that extra visual real-estate as well as your own stand-up, sit down, electronic desk.  We believe that getting things done in a place that you love should never feel like a chore.

We’re growing and we’re building something really special and we’d love for you to be part of it.  Every year we give back by contributing as a team to a charitable project.   Personally, we’re passionate about the environment, innovation, technology and humanity. We believe in leaving behind more than just amazing stories.

And if you believe in creating your own luck, then this is how you apply

You’ll need to hold a driver’s license and have your own means of getting from A to B.  Please email us at achieve at inspireworks dot com dot au with a one-pager about you stating “Media Producer” in the subject line of your email. Also tell us about the name of the last film you saw.

If you have existing work samples we’d love to see them.  Please send up to two scripts and two corporate videos you’ve produced.
